According to a statement from the Roosters, Luke O’Donnell has been stood down after being late to training, which means Trent Robinson has effectively avoided that selection headache mentioned in an article earlier today — for another week at least.
The statement reads:
Sydney Roosters player Luke O’Donnell has been stood down for one week following a breach of the club’s standards, including being late to training. “The Sydney Roosters have strong policies in place and any form of breach is taken seriously,” said Sydney Roosters Chief Operating Officer Football, Brian Canavan.
Missing training at the age of 32?
More will be revealed in the coming days on the reasons behind him being late, but either way Aidan Guerra returns from a knee infection into Luke O’Donnell’s 17 jersey, while rookie Kane Evans takes Dylan Napa’s 18 jersey and is likely to drop off the bench.
