Luke O’Donnell out versus Raiders: Report

Looks like the Roosters will be down another starter.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Luke O’Donnell is out for the clash against the Raiders after succumbing to a flu — perhaps brought on by the shittiest of Winter days on Thursday.

The Tele reckons Sam Moa will come into the starting squad with Tinirau Arona — who hasn’t played since Round One’s loss to the Rabbitohs — set to snare the vacated spot on the bench.

O’Donnell has been on fire recently and has helped set the foundation — along with this week’s co-captain Jared Waerea-Hargreaves — for the Roosters from the kickoff. He’s run for over 100 metres in nine of his past 10 games and missed just 6 tackles during that span.

  2. Rumour has it that LO’D hasn’t taken to the week’s ball playing drills nearly as well as expected and Coach Robinson was left no choice but to go with Moa 😉

  3. I’ll let you decide,
    Most offloads, per 80 Minutes played;
    2.50 – Sonny Bill Williams (36)
    2.45 – Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (17)
    1.34 – Luke O’Donnell (10)
    1.26 – Frank Paul Nu’uausala (8)
    0.78 – Sam Moa (5)
